4. Application and Eligibility Screening

4.1
After you submit your application, you will receive a screening email. You’ll be required to follow the instructions within this email and conduct a self-assessment of your, or your employee’s, skills and experience to confirm eligibility for starting the assessment.
4.2
Should you require assistance in determining eligibility, you are encouraged to seek support from our NVQ assessor by reaching out to the Up Level admin team.
4.3
To initiate the onboarding process for the NVQ assessment, you must confirm your eligibility. This confirmation can be provided via email or by telephone conversation with one of our NVQ assessors.
4.4
Candidates who are unable to establish their eligibility will not be permitted to commence the onboarding process.
4.5
Upon confirming your eligibility, Up Level will generate and send you an email with instructions for completing the payment according to the payment plan you selected earlier.

5. Payments

5.1
Once the candidate's eligibility is confirmed, Up Level will create and send an email with instructions for setting up and completing the payment in line with the selected or agreed-upon payment plan.
5.2
To accommodate the Awarding Body fees incurred by our company, the NVQ enrolment and assessment process will commence only after Up Level has received the payment from you, in accordance with the agreed payment plan.
5.3
After receiving the payment, Up Level will confirm the transaction with a payment receipt sent via email.
5.4
With the exception of one-off payments, all payments, depending on the selected or agreed payment plan, are billed on a monthly basis. Payments recur on the same day of each month, or on the last calendar day of the month when applicable.
5.5
Following the initiation of the assessment process after the first payment, any failed recurring payment may incur a Late Payment Fee, as detailed on our website (https://nvqlevel.com/fees), which will be added to the total amount of the initially agreed assessment fee.

6. Enrolments

6.1
After the payment is received in accordance with the agreed payment plan, Up Level will allocate a designated assessor who will get in touch with the candidate to organize the enrolment and assessment procedures.
6.2
The method of enrolment, whether via email or in person during a visit from our NVQ assessor, will be determined based on the specific circumstances and discussions at the initial stage with the designated assessor.
6.3
The designated assessor will aim to register the candidate within 24 hours. Nevertheless, this timeframe can be adapted to meet the specific needs or circumstances of the candidate.
6.4
Candidates have the right to request a copy of the registration confirmation that Up Level receives from the Awarding Body.

7. Dormant Candidates

7.1
Candidates who fail to respond to communications from their assigned assessor or the Up Level office via phone or email will be classified as dormant.
7.2
If a candidate remains non-responsive for a period exceeding two years from the date of their first enrolment payment, they will be withdrawn from the list of active candidates without the right to a refund.
7.3
This withdrawal policy applies strictly to candidates who do not engage in communication. Candidates who maintain regular contact with their assessor and have mutually agreed upon a completion date that exceeds two years will not be affected.
7.4
Up Level will make reasonable efforts to contact dormant candidates before their removal from active status, including multiple attempts via email and phone.
7.5
Candidates who have been withdrawn due to non-responsiveness may reapply, subject to the full applicable fees and a new enrolment process.

8. Cancellation

8.1
If the candidate/learner/client decides to cancel the assessment course after being registered for the assessment with the Awarding Body, a refund will be issued, deducting £265 + VAT to cover the Awarding Body registration costs and administration charges.
8.2
In cases where registration with the Awarding Body has not yet occurred, a refund will be issued, deducting £65 + VAT for administration fees.
8.3
Cancellation is permissible only within a 3-month cooling-off period following the payment of the first instalment. If this period has been exceeded, eligibility for a refund is forfeited.
8.4
Full or partial cancellation is feasible only if no assessment activities or attempts have occurred. Should the assessment have commenced, eligibility for a refund is forfeited.

9. Issuing of the Certificates

9.1
Upon completion of the assessment, Up Level will request the payment of the outstanding balance before claiming the certificate.
9.2
Up Level will release candidate certificates only after all outstanding invoices, including any Late Payment Fees, have been settled.
9.3
Once full payment is confirmed, Up Level will claim the certificate from the Awarding Body on the next working day. Certificates are typically expected within 2 weeks, though delivery can take up to 4 weeks from the claim date.
9.4
Early Certificate Release is available for the UK clients on long-term payment plans who have completed their assessments but have not yet cleared their balance. We understand the importance of receiving your certificate without undue delay. Therefore, to facilitate this while managing our risk, clients wishing to access their certificate earlier must complete and sign an Early Certificate Release agreement and provide a supporting proof of address document. This approach ensures you can promptly benefit from your achievements without waiting for the final payment.
