Experienced health and safety professionals with 3+ years in the industry can Fast Track a Health and Safety NVQ in as little as 4 weeks — and Fast Track is included with every booking for eligible candidates. At a normal pace, most candidates complete in around 6–8 weeks. During assessment planning we'll look at your evidence and work history and advise whether a 4-week completion is realistic for you.
Level 6 suits professionals who manage H&S systems and lead improvement. Level 3 suits practitioners supporting day-to-day site safety. The comparison table above sets out the difference.
No. These are competence-based NVQ assessments — evidence from your real work and assessor discussions, not classroom exams.
Yes. Level and card colour must align with CSCS requirements, and you will also need a valid CITB HS&E test.
