During the carpentry NVQ assessment course, you will be required to provide evidence for the assessment criteria listed above. If you have any photos or videos of your previous site carpentry work, you can use this evidence for your current assessment portfolio.

The evidence we collect from you must demonstrate your skills and ability to carry out quality carpentry work in compliance with site specifications and safety requirements.

In order to prove your competence, we'll be looking at your practical skills as well as overall knowledge of materials and tools that you use on a daily basis to make sure that you can identify the correct methods and sequence of work related to the site carpentry trade.

For us it is important to see that you are safe on the site, therefore, we also focus on the H&S aspect i.e. correct use of PPE and safety equipment.
